Gegründet 1989, rollten die Jungs aus dem schwedischen Malmö mit ihrem Debüt "Skate To Hell" und beeinflusst von Bands wie SNFU oder RKL geradewegs in Richtung Hölle – und mehr als ein Vierteljahrhundert später schloss sich mit der Comeback-Platte "Back From Hell" der Kreis dann wieder. Doch der Reihe nach: Als sie 1995 das Album "Hero Of Our Time" veröffentlichten, wurde es zum Kassenschlager und fortan bildeten sie gemeinsam mit MILLENCOLIN sowie NO FUN AT ALL die Dreifaltigkeit der skandinavischen Melodycore-Szene, prägten ein ganzes Jahrzehnt mit ihren rasend schnellen Skate-Punk-Songs. Nach endlosen Touren sowie fünf weiteren Alben war 2007 aber Schluss und Sänger Rodrigo Alfaro schloss sich ATLAS LOSING GRIP an.

Doch dann schien die Zeit reif zu sein für einen Neuanfang der Skate-Punk-Ikonen. Und plötzlich waren sie wieder da! Zuerst live bei Festivals, dann folgte das neue Album, das trotz langer Pause nahtlos an ihr bisheriges Schaffen anknüpfte. Die Melodic-Hardcore-Pioniere müssen niemandem mehr etwas beweisen und kombinieren immer noch Songs inklusive ausgeprägter Melodien aber ohne jede Geschwindigkeits¬begrenzung mit persönlichen und auch politischen Texten. Wenn diese Scheibe eines ist, dann Ausdruck wiederentdeckter Spielfreude einer legendären Band.
